After carefully listening to the remarks of all participants, Li Lanxiang, Deputy Secretary of the Weifang Municipal Party Committee, stated that since last year, the Weifang Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government have steadfastly upheld Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as their guiding principle, rigorously implemented the decisions and arrangements of higher-level authorities, and united and led the broad ranks of working people. By coordinating epidemic prevention and control with economic and social development, the city has achieved robust progress across all fronts. Li Lanxiang emphasized the need to set an exemplary standard, maintain excellence, and serve as a model, using personal integrity and exemplary conduct to inspire society, shape public values, and motivate the city’s working masses to make even greater contributions in advancing high-quality, high-speed development and accelerating the building of a modern, high‑quality city that meets the people’s expectations. He called for unwavering adherence to the correct political direction—keeping pace with the Party, heeding its leadership, and staying at the forefront of the times—in order to achieve tangible results in driving the city’s high‑quality, high‑speed development. It is essential to vigorously promote the spirit of model workers, the spirit of labor, and the spirit of craftsmanship, further enhancing the skills and capabilities of the workforce. We must firmly uphold the development philosophy centered on the people and work tirelessly to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of workers. Trade unions at all levels throughout the city should consciously accept the leadership of the Party, maintain a clear political orientation, and remain focused on the central tasks of the city’s economic development, continuously improving their capacity to serve high‑quality development and the broader workforce, thereby making trade unions more dynamic, resilient, and effective.
