On April 11, a grand groundbreaking ceremony was held for the Lanxiang Environmental Green Low-Carbon Circular Water Equipment Project. Covering an area of 240 mu, the project will construct new facilities, including a water-saving equipment workshop, a carbon-reduction equipment workshop, a research and development testing center, and an intelligent logistics system. Upon completion, it will enable high-quality production and efficient operation of low-carbon circular water equipment.

Wang Fu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairman of the Weifang Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, attended the event and officially declared the project’s commencement. Jia Qinqing, Secretary of the Anqiu Municipal Party Committee, also attended and delivered a speech. Qiao Risheng, Deputy Secretary of the Anqiu Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, presided over the ceremony. City leaders Zhao Yanfu, Leng Wenqing, and Tian Kaiwen were in attendance. Li Xiangchun, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Xin’an Subdistrict, attended and addressed the gathering. Xu Qinghua, Chairman of Lanxiang Environmental, offered a welcome address. Leaders from relevant municipal departments, representatives of related operating entities and construction firms, along with employee representatives of Lanxiang Environmental, jointly witnessed the groundbreaking ceremony.
Secretary Jia Qinqing extended warm congratulations on the commencement of the project, emphasizing that this initiative serves as a crucial pillar for Lanxiang to expand its industrial scale and increase its market share, while also providing vital guidance as it accelerates its ascent toward the high end of the industry and strives to reach the pinnacle of technological innovation. He expressed the hope that Lanxiang Environment will remain steadfast in its core business, relentlessly pursue innovation, and maintain unwavering momentum in digitalization and intelligent transformation, turning the new project into a leading engine driving industry-wide progress, a powerful catalyst propelling it onto new competitive tracks, and a benchmark for smart upgrades, digital transformation, and networked connectivity. In doing so, the company will inject robust impetus into the city’s efforts to accelerate new‑type industrialization and cultivate new‑quality productive forces.
