He emphasized the need to deepen study and gain a thorough understanding of the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s remarks during his visit to Shandong, keep his instructions firmly in mind, remain grateful and forge ahead with determination, and resolutely shoulder the mission and responsibility of “taking the lead and shouldering major responsibilities.” He called for redoubling efforts to advance all aspects of economic and social development and strive to write a new chapter of Chinese‑style modernization in Shandong.
