Product Introduction


Operating Principle
Inside the cooling tower, the saturated warm and moist air flowing through the fill and ambient dry and cold air entering through the louvers carry out non-contact heat exchanging in condensation modular. The saturated warm and moist air is supersaturated due to the temperature decreasing and condensed water is precipitated. The condensed water is collected and flows into the collection basin to realize the purpose of water conservation. The secondary saturated air is fully mixed with heated dry and cold air above the condensation modular,the temperature and relative humidity are significantly reduced, the condition of plume abatement is generated.

Principle of Plume Formation for Conventional Cooling Tower


Point 1 to point 4 Plume Formation
While Saturated warm and humid air at the outlet of fan stack ( air condition -point 1) mixs with atmosphere ( air condition -point4 ), vapor in warm and humid air condenses into small droplets, forming visible plume. The air condition at the mixing point is above the saturation curve. 


Principle for Plume Abatement Cooling Tower 


Point 1 to point 2--Moisture reduction of warm and humid air 
Dividing-wall-type heat transfer is completed while saturated warm and humid air (point 1)from fill area entering hot channel outlet of the condensation modular meets with ambient cold air entering cold channel outlet of the condensation modular, with the moisture and tempreture of the warm and humid air reducing. Then the warm and humid air flows through outlet of condensation modular with the air condition turning into point 2.
Point 4 to point 3--Tempreture rise of the ambient cold air
Ambient cold air (point 1) carrys out heat transfer through condensation modular, with tempreture rising and moisture constant. Then the cold air flows through outlet of condensation modular with the air condition turning into point 3. 
Mix point 2 with point 3 into point 5
Warm and humid air (point 2) flowing through hot channel outlet of the condensation modular is fully mixed with the warm and dry air (point 3) from cold channel outlet, with the moisture and tempreture of the warm and humid air reducing, and then the air condition turns into point 5. 
Point 5 to point 4--Abatement of visible plume
The air at the outlet of fan stack ( air condition -point 5) mixs with atmosphere ( air condition -point4 ) generating the condition of visible plume abatement. The air condition at the mixing point is below the saturation curve.
