Operating Principle
Integrated water-saving and plume abatement fills are fitted inside the cooling tower. Independent chamber-shell structures separate the fills into dry and wet dual channels. A dedicated water distribution system switches seasonal water supply modes to realize simultaneous water saving and plume abatement.
Water-saving & Plume Abatement Mode:The water distribution system switches to plume abatement water distribution. Cold air rises through dry channels for indirect heat exchange with sprayed water in wet channels, lowering circulating water evaporation loss. Air flows upward in wet channels for direct evaporative heat exchange with downward spray water. The two air streams mix fully in the mixing zone to form unsaturated air, eliminating or reducing the plume at the fan stack outlet. 
Conventional Mode:The water distribution system switches to traditional water distribution mode. The ambient air flows upward and conducts direct evaporative heat exchange with downward-sprayed circulating water inside the integrated fills to efficiently cool the circulating cooling water.
