Operating Principle
The dead steam from the turbine flows through the main exhaust pipe into the steam distribution pipe, where it is evenly distributed into the heat exchange tube bundles on both sides. The cold ambient air flows over the surface of the heat exchange tube bundles under the action of the axial flow fan, and the dead steam inside the tube bundles is condensed into water by the convective heat exchange.
The condensed water is collected into the lower header and then pumped into the next circulation by the condensate pump. And the non-condensable gases are discharged into the atmosphere by the vacuum system flowing through the upper header of the counterflow tube bundles.
