On October 26, 2024, the Lanxiang Environmental Strategy Decoding Seminar was held. The event featured a thought‑provoking session led by Wu Yongqiang, a consultant at Shanghai Jia Chi Consulting, who addressed key topics including “What is Strategy,” “The Essence of Strategy‑Driven Management,” “Building a Framework for Strategic Objectives,” “The Relationship Among Strategic Planning, Business Planning, and Operational Planning,” “The Framework for Business Strategy and Strategy Execution,” and “Strategy‑Driven Organizational Development.”

General Manager Xu Qinghua reviewed the company’s progress in achieving its key strategic targets for 2024 and outlined the strategic priorities and corresponding action plans for 2025. During the meeting, Deputy General Managers Liu Guochun, Director of the Overseas Projects Department Lou Guochen, and Director of the Thermal Energy Business Unit Liu Wentao each presented analyses from domestic, international, and new‑product perspectives, respectively, guided by the “Five‑View” framework, and articulated the 2025 sales objectives and related initiatives. Deputy General Manager Sun Xicheng addressed four key areas—“enhancing workforce productivity,” “project delivery,” “cost control,” and “advanced tools and equipment”—providing a comprehensive analysis and reporting on these dimensions, while also proposing specific tactical measures and action plans for 2025. Wang Jiliang, Executive Dean of the Management Center’s Business School, applied the “Yang Triangle” model, examining employee mindset, capabilities, and governance across three dimensions, and delivered both qualitative and quantitative insights along with a positioning summary, together with a roadmap for strengthening organizational capabilities in 2025. Throughout the session, four working groups composed of the company’s core management team engaged in discussions and synthesized findings on critical topics such as “strategic direction and positioning,” “strategic goals and the strategic map,” and “key initiatives and task‑breakdowns.” They also shared insights and deliberated on the company’s most pressing issues. In closing, General Manager Xu Qinghua emphasized that this forum provided a rare opportunity for open dialogue and consensus-building, enabling managers from all departments to engage directly, exchange viewpoints, and align on strategic priorities—thus fostering innovative thinking and uniting efforts. He urged participants to approach challenges with fresh perspectives, avoid rigid, conventional thinking, and strive to transcend established patterns, continuously improving themselves to achieve the company’s objectives.
Through the exchanges and knowledge-sharing at this strategic decoding workshop, managers have strengthened their strategic awareness, team-management mindset, goal orientation, and results‑driven approach. Taking this conference as an opportunity, Lanxiang Environmental will embrace the corporate culture of “honing internal capabilities and driving self‑transformation,” further establishing an efficient, collaborative working system, building a high‑performing, tightly cohesive team, laying the foundation for its third decade of development, achieving its strategic objectives for that period, and taking even more solid steps toward high‑quality growth.
