On October 14, the signing and unveiling ceremony for the National–Local Joint Engineering Research Center for Comprehensive Thermal Energy Utilization Technology of Dalian University of Technology–Lanxiang Environment was successfully held at the company. Attending the ceremony were Shen Shengqiang, former head of the Organization Department of Dalian University of Technology and director of the National–Local Joint Engineering Research Center; Liu Kuo, deputy director of the Institute of Technology Research and Development; Tang Bin, deputy dean of the School of Energy and Power Engineering; Mou Xingsen, deputy director of the National–Local Joint Engineering Research Center; Jia Qinqing, Secretary of the Anqiu Municipal Party Committee; Sun Zhijie, Vice Mayor of the Anqiu Municipal Government; Zhou Xiquan, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Xin’an Subdistrict; Zheng Hongyan, Party Secretary of the Municipal Development and Reform Bureau; Liu Yuhai, Party Secretary of the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau; Wang Bojin, Party Secretary of the Municipal Industry and Information Technology Bureau; and Xu Qinghua, Chairman of Lanxiang Environment. The unveiling ceremony was chaired by Vice Mayor Sun Zhijie.
At the signing and unveiling ceremony, Secretary Jia Qinqing, Director Shen Shengqiang, and Chairman Xu Qinghua each delivered remarks. Secretary Jia Qinqing stated that the signing of this joint engineering research center marks the entry of bilateral cooperation into a substantive phase, expressing his sincere hope that Director Shen and the distinguished experts and professors will fully leverage their academic and technological strengths to engage in deeper, broader exchanges and collaborations with Lanxiang Environmental across more fields—undertaking high‑level research breakthroughs, building cutting‑edge platforms, and attracting and cultivating top‑tier talent—to accelerate the transfer and commercialization of scientific and technological achievements. Director Shen Shengqiang noted that the member institutions of the engineering research center will pursue in-depth collaboration in areas such as technology R&D, the translation of scientific and technological成果, technical services, and talent development, thereby providing enhanced support for Lanxiang Environmental’s technological upgrading and high‑quality growth. Chairman Xu Qinghua emphasized that the establishment of this center will foster closer cooperation between the university and the enterprise, orienting efforts toward market needs to achieve the integrated development of technology and industry, advance the R&D and engineering application of comprehensive thermal energy utilization, and make an even greater contribution to national energy conservation and carbon reduction.
Following the address, Liu Kuo, Vice President of the Technology Development Institute at Dalian University of Technology, and Xu Qinghua, Chairman of Lanxiang Environmental, signed an agreement to jointly establish a cooperative research center. Secretary Jia Qinqing and Director Shen Shengqiang then jointly unveiled the National–Local Joint Engineering Research Center for Comprehensive Thermal Energy Utilization Technologies, a collaboration between Dalian University of Technology and Lanxiang Environmental.
Going forward, Lanxiang Environmental will leverage this central platform to deepen university–enterprise collaboration, strengthen exchanges and cooperation in talent and technology, intensify research and development efforts, continuously enhance its core technological competitiveness, and strive to achieve new breakthroughs in the field of integrated thermal energy utilization technologies.
