On February 25, the signing ceremony for the “University–Enterprise Strategic Cooperation” between Weifang University and Lanxiang Environmental was successfully held at Lanxiang. Li Dong, Secretary of the Party Committee of Weifang University, and Jia Qinqing, Secretary of the Anqiu Municipal Party Committee, attended the ceremony, while Xu Qinghua, Chairman of Lanxiang Environmental, presided over the event.
On February 25, the signing ceremony for the “University–Enterprise Strategic Cooperation” between Weifang University and Lanxiang Environmental was successfully held at Lanxiang. Li Dong, Secretary of the Party Committee of Weifang University, and Jia Qinqing, Secretary of the Anqiu Municipal Party Committee, attended the ceremony, which was chaired by Xu Qinghua, Chairman of Lanxiang Environmental.
Secretary Li Dong and his delegation visited the Lanxiang Environmental Exhibition Hall, conducted an on-site inspection, and listened to a briefing. After gaining an in-depth understanding of the company’s development trajectory and its strategic direction, Secretary Li Dong expressed strong appreciation for Lanxiang Environmental’s research achievements and its contributions to society. He also sought detailed information on the company’s collaborations with universities, and the two sides engaged in thorough discussions on trends in high-end equipment, technical services, and the advancement of industry–university–research partnerships. This university–local government collaboration has established a platform for technological innovation, providing a framework that facilitates the alignment of cutting-edge technologies with industrial applications, connects industries with enterprises, and links businesses with available resources.
At the symposium, Secretary Li Dong provided an overview of the university and outlined its development achievements in recent years. He emphasized that Weifang University is firmly rooted in Weifang, serves the city, and places great importance on supporting its counties, districts, and key industries and enterprises, while continuously advancing in-depth exchanges and cooperation.
Following multiple rounds of discussions and exchanges between the university and the enterprise, both parties have reached a consensus on cooperation in areas such as technological development, talent cultivation, intellectual property, technology incubation, and talent sharing. The signing of the “University–Enterprise Strategic Cooperation” agreement between Weifang University and Lanxiang Environmental will undoubtedly strengthen collaborative development between the two sides and enable them to make greater contributions to scientific and technological innovation, technological advancement, and energy conservation and carbon reduction.
Ma Qianhua, a member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Weifang University, along with responsible officials from relevant departments and representatives of the doctoral faculty, attended the event.
