On December 21, the 2024 Corporate ESG and Sustainable Development Conference, co-hosted by the China Enterprise Reform and Development Research Association and Xinhua News Agency’s Half-Monthly Talk magazine, was successfully held in Beijing. Xu Qinghua, Chairman of Shandong Lanxiang Environmental Technology Co., Ltd., was invited to attend the summit, where he focused on outstanding ESG practices among Chinese enterprises and joined discussions on innovative pathways for companies to advance high-quality development and fulfill their social responsibilities in the context of the new era.
The conference unveiled the “2024 Outstanding Cases of Corporate Sustainability in China.” Among more than 700 submissions, Blue Think Environment’s ESG case, titled “Guided by ESG Principles, Driving Industrial Water Conservation and Carbon Reduction to Usher in a New Chapter of Green Transformation,” stood out and was recognized as an “Outstanding ESG Case of Chinese Enterprises in 2024.” Chairman Xu Qinghua joined several other attendees at the conference’s roundtable forum, where they exchanged views on the theme of “Promoting the Development of a Chinese‑style Ecological System for Green, Low‑Carbon, and Sustainable Growth.” He shared Blue Think Environment’s best practices in helping enterprises achieve green, low‑carbon, and sustainable development—seizing opportunities presented by the “dual carbon” goals while balancing economic, social, and environmental considerations. Other participants also presented exemplary cases, offering valuable insights to further advance ESG principles in the future.
Looking ahead, Lanxiang Environment will wholeheartedly align with the national green development strategy, further advance its ESG framework, and forge a development path guided by ESG principles—driving industrial water conservation and carbon reduction while ushering in a green transformation. In doing so, it will contribute to the coordinated, sustainable, and high‑quality development of the economy, society, and the environment.
