On January 29, the unveiling and launch ceremony of the Energy-Saving and Water-Saving Engineering Technology Center of the National Western Energy Research Institute at Xi’an Jiaotong University was successfully held at Xi’an Jiaotong University.
On November 29, the unveiling and launch ceremony of the Energy‑Saving and Water‑Conservation Engineering Technology Center of the National Western Energy Research Institute at Xi’an Jiaotong University was successfully held at Xi’an Jiaotong University. Attending the event were Wang Huan, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee of Xi’an Jiaotong University; Cheng Guangxu, former Vice President and professor at the School of Chemical Engineering; Shao Jinyou, Executive Deputy Dean of the Research Institute; Yang Guidong, Dean of the School of Chemical Engineering; Zhao Zhongguo, Party Secretary and Director of the Weifang Municipal Science and Technology Bureau; Jia Qinqing, Secretary of the Anqiu Municipal Party Committee; Dong Weian, Member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Head of the Organization Department; Sun Zhijie, Member of the Party Leadership Group of the Municipal Government and Vice Mayor; Xu Qinghua, Chairman of Blue Think Environment; and Zhang Qiang, Deputy General Manager of Blue Think Environment.
At the symposium, Xu Qinghua, Chairman of Lanxiang Environment, presented an overview of the company and outlined the key research areas of the Energy‑Saving and Water‑Conserving Engineering Technology Center at the National Western Energy Research Institute. Following this, the two parties jointly unveiled the plaque for the Center. Yu Yunsong, Vice Dean of the School of Chemical Engineering at Xi’an Jiaotong University, then conferred appointment letters as off‑campus supervisors for professional degree graduate students upon Xu Qinghua, Chairman of Lanxiang Environment, and Zhang Qiang, Deputy General Manager of Lanxiang Environment.
Going forward, Lanxiang will take this event as an opportunity to strengthen collaboration with universities in areas such as scientific research, talent development, and the commercialization of research outcomes, fostering complementary strengths and mutually beneficial partnerships to inject strong momentum into the company’s drive for green, low-carbon, high-quality development.
